Information About Pictures and Movies

Display Defaults

  • Pictures
    • Each picture's "alternate text" (the text that appears when the picture can't be displayed) is organized as follows: Text, Description, and Actions. Text consists of the words or characters that appear in the picture. Description contains the description of the picture. Lastly Action describes what happens when the user interacts with the picture. Note: some pictures do not have Text and/or Actions.
  • Movies
    • Each movie opens up in a new Window's Widget movie viewer.

Website Navigation

I have tried to make this website easy to navigate by offering multiple different navigation strategies.

  • A. Hierarchical - One page links to another which links to another, etc. Use bread crumbs (see the very top of this page) to get back to a main page.
  • B. Global - Near the top of all the pages there is a menu which contains the links used most often on this website.
  • C. Website Map - The website map (see below) allows the user to jump to any page on this website.
  • D. Search Site - This is useful if you know some information about the page you wish to view, such as class name or number. By typing this information into the text box next the the button "Find!" (located at the top of the home page) a list of pages will appear that contain the given information.

Example of how to reach the ME 75 - MATLAB class using each of the methods described above (starting from the home page).

  • A. Hierarchical - Make the following page selections:
    • 1. Aaron's CSUS page
    • 2. classes (either by subject or semester)
    • 3. ME 75 - Introduction to Computer-Aided Engineering (MATLAB 7)
  • B. Global - Hover over Classes (in the top menu bar) and select All Classes from the drop down menu, then select ME 75.
  • C. Website Map - Select Navigation (in the top menu bar) then select ME 74 - MATLAB
  • D. Search Site - Type ME 75 into the text box, select find, then choose the first page
